Harkat Festival

Harkat Festival is a scientific event for gathering the best and selected students scientific teams from around the world with different fields of studies and illustrating their remarkable scientific achievements. This festival provides a great opportunity for student teams to present their scientific innovations and ideas and exchange information with their counterparts.

The socio-cultural department of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology supports holding this event which is hosted by one of the major Iranian Universities annually since 2008. This festival puts special emphasize on establishing relationship between students scientific teams, the society and industries.

Ninth Harkat Festival

Shahid Ba Honar University of Kerman is going to host the Ninth National Harkat Festival in fall 2016. Altering and refining national Harkat Festival and eliminating the shortcomings seen in the previous years of festival are our premier goals. As a part of its main policy and also based on the high demands of many active students in students’ scientific teams and universities, the socio-cultural department of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology has been doing consultation with Iranian universities as well as major and valid universities of the world to hold this event internationally. It should be noted that representatives from the Republic of Azerbaijan, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Republic of Krygyzstan, and Republic of India as well as students of national department of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad were present in the 8th National Harkat Festival. In the same vein, there are going to emerge significant changes regarding the previous National Harkat festival including adding innovative scientific teams and nominated universities sectors.

Competition Fields of the Ninth Harkat Festival

The ninth festival will be held in three highly competitive parts including Active Scientific teams, Creative Scientific Organizations, and Nominated Universities. It is noteworthy that each sector consists of the following competitive fields:
All annual activities of scientific team are evaluated and refereed in Active Scientific team. The competitive fields to win the award are as follows:

  • Education
  • Popularization
  • Academic Completion
  • Journals ( each University up to three)
  • Books
  • Invention, Innovation, and Creativity (each university can just deliver two works.)
  • Entrepreneurship (each university can just deliver two works.)
  • Nominated students ’scientific team

This sector of the festival takes into consideration the nominated university’s functions in supporting students’ scientific teams and cooperating to activate such teams. In parallel, this sector evaluates the qualities of the delivered works of university in the two sectors of Active Scientific Team and Creative Scientific Team.

International sector of the ninth harkat festival

The international sector of the ninth festival of harkat aims at Increasing international scientific interactions, exploiting the Capacities of scientific diplomacy, and knowing the scientific capacities of Student's teams in the world.
The students of universities in the world who are active and participate in group works of scientific team can participate in this festival after presenting thier scientific achievements to the secratriat of the festival and assesment of the judges.
